DRAMA IN THE DANCE REHEARSAL was piloted at The Kirov Academy  in Washington, DC .

While the students and professionals prepared for several performances, Theresa overheard one of the dance instructors explaining to another that the dance students were having difficulty connecting to some of the pieces on an emotional level. Together we identified 2 key objectives for the drama workshop: 
   

 * to help the players connect to the emotion their character was feeling in the piece and
    * to encourage the students to understand the story they were dancing as a whole.
